Trip Options

Whether you’re new to ice fishing or a seasoned angler looking for a dialed-in winter adventure, Baxstar offers guided trips designed around your goals and experience level.  All trips include heated shelter setups, holes drilled ahead of time, and expert instruction from a professional guide. 4--8 hour trips start at $395.

Trips take place on Detroit Lake unless prior arrangements are made — contact us anytime if you’d like to fish a different lake.​​

  • Fishing license (required for all anglers 16+)

  • 4 x 4 vehicle preferred

    • Transportation can be arranged otherwise

Guided Trips Details

  • We will contact you the afternoon before the trip to send you directions to the public access.

  • You will meet us at the public access and follow us to the fish house.  If you need a ride, we can accomodate that.

  • Grab a rod and a seat and start fishing!
