Detroit Lake Ice Castle Sleeper House Rentals
When it comes to ice fishing, this is the ultimate luxury experience! Our Detroit Lake Ice Castle sleeper houses have all the amenities of a camper, including sleeping quarters, kitchenette, bathroom (no running water), television, and a generator with a full tank of gas*. They are 8' wide and 16'-17' long and they sleep 4-6. The house will be located in on a good fishing spot and it will be turn key ready. Just show up and start fishing!

You can also rent fishing gear including rods, reels, tackle, fish finders, and underwater cameras from Baxstar to make your trip more successful.
*tank of gas = 8-12 hours run time. Baxstar can deliver additional gas for your generator for a small fee.

17'-21' Ice Castle Sleeper House Rental
If our Detroit Lake Ice Castle Sleeper House Rental (listed above) is booked, or if you are looking to rent a 21' Ice Castle, this is the option for you. We work with local partners to provide additional 17'-21' Ice Castle rentals on Detroit Lake or any other lake within 20 miles of Detroit Lakes (additional plowing charges may apply to lakes other than Detroit Lake, depending on lake conditions). All 3rd party rentals include house rental, transportation, plow and prep, set up, clean up and removal.
You can also rent fishing gear including rods, reels, tackle, fish finders, and underwater cameras from Baxstar to make your trip more successful.
We can usually find you a house, but availability goes down fast after January 1st. Keep in mind, most 3rd party providers have a 3 day/2 night minimum.

Wood Day House Rental
Our 8' x 16' wood framed wheel house is our largest day house. It is heated, the holes are drilled, and there is 12v electricity controlling the light and fan. Generator rentals are available, offering even more power. The house is located on Little Detroit Lake in easily accessible locations that offer excellent Crappie, Bluegill, Bass, Northern Pike, and Walleye fishing. The house accommodates up to 6 people comfortably, and is available 7 days a week.

Guided Ice Fishing Trips
Increase your chances of catching fish with the help of a guide! Tailored to people that want the assistance of an experienced guide who knows area waters, these trips are great for 1 person, or large groups.
Guided trips usually take place on Detroit Lake but we service other lakes in the area. You can request a lake when you book your trip. You may fish out of a permanent house, portable house, or both over the course of your trip. Prices below are for Detroit Lake trips. Additional plowing charges may apply depending on lake conditions on other lakes.
Guided trips include premium gear, including the latest ice fishing technology. Your guide will also deploy tip ups to give you a chance at catching bigger fish.

Fish House Services
Own or renting an Ice Castle or other fish house? Let Baxstar do the hard work of clearing a spot on the ice and plowing a road for you. We also offer an all inclusive rental house package, so all you need to do is show up and fish (Rental House Package required for all 3rd party Ice Castle Sleeper House rentals through Baxstar). Plow and prep fishing spot: $150
Perfect for sleeper house owners visiting Detroit Lakes. We will have a spot ready to go-all you have to do is show up!

Rental House Package: $375
Recommended for all 3rd party rentals on Detroit Lake. Includes plowing, preparation, delivering house to Detroit Lake, house placement, set up, take down, clean up and return transportation of house.
