Wooden Day House

Spend the day in the warmth of our solid, permanent 16′ x 8′ wooden fish house—our largest day-rental option and a long-time customer favorite. Built for comfort and reliability, this house features 12-volt power for lights and fan, a classic 6-hole perimeter layout, and a powerful heater that performs exceptionally well in cold and windy conditions.

The open interior provides excellent tabletop space and room to move, making it ideal for relaxed fishing days, food, and gear organization. A bench seat plus multiple folding chairs allow customers to easily customize their seating and fishing setup to match their group size and style.

This is a great option for anglers looking for a warm, spacious, and affordable day on the ice without unnecessary extras.

Discover Detroit Lake from the comfort of our brand-new 14' x 6.5' Ambush Outdoors Explorer aluminum fish house. Proudly built right here in Detroit Lakes with a “fishing first” philosophy, this custom house has 8 holes and is optimized for live-imaging setups. With two large padded benches, it is spacious enough for the whole family.

NEW THIS YEAR! The house includes a 43" television--perfect for connecting to our underwater camera (rental required), compatible LiveScope units or to log in to your favorite streaming service. We recommend groups of up to 6 for the best experience, though the layout provides seating for as many as 8.
